when i had my kid the obstetrician asked me if i wanted to keep the placenta. i asked quite simply "why the meep would i?" and she went on to explain that people like to eat it and also plant it next to a sapling as some sort of symbolism, but nonetheless i said no.

It has the texture of a perfectly tender steak with a similar flavor but a more irony edge, like liver. I've never eaten it but I would if presented with the opportunity, I guess.

As far as cannibalism in general, I would have zero problems eating human flesh if it was all that was available. If placed in a situation of certain death or eat a human, the weakest dude is BBQ.

If the real meep goes down (and we know it will go down) take out the first person around you who is even possibly ok with eating human flesh and burn his fat skin for heating oil in the winter to warm-up between foraging trips.
