I always thought about how different car design & architecture would be if we still had large, carnivorous dinos running about. No more picture windows or glass doors...a Pterodon might snap your meep up like a bug. Forget about that 2nd meep sports coupe convertable...stop at a light, and something on two legs will come up like a big chicken and have lunch. Have had many a dream like that.

Interesting. But what the meep do they want to clone a wooly mammoth for?

The thing that strikes me about this is that not only are we possibly able to resurrect a centuries extinct animal, we may be able to further species on our current endangered list. Also (as Spank pointed out), the ability to possibly own, saddle and ride one of these beasts would undoubtedly open Valhalla to more mere mortals and change parking rules in favor of pure badasses FOREVER.

Well, i suppose a family could feed on it for a week.... if they all ate meat. I don't think i'd try mammoth even if i ate meat myself... sounds like it would tast bad. @bobacus
