'No matter how you look at it, aspartame is bad news in my book. The massive introduction of this neurotoxin into the food supply is nothing less than biological warfare against every single one of us, and the only acceptable solution is to ban it from the food chain.-

My first objection to aspartame is it tastes like chemical sweetener.
White Sugar tastes like white sugar, Brown sugar tastes like brown sugar. Honey tastes like honey. Aspartame tastes like nothing identifiable.
My true feeling for the flavour will be meeped out of existence, so I won't bother.

Fact: All of my gastrointestinal problems went away when I stopped attempting to digest aspartame. I guess I could have gone to a doctor and got a couple of pills to help 'control' the near constant squirty meep syndrome I was suffering from but, lo and behold, no more diet anything did the trick.

Aspartame made me meep 5 to 8 times a day and it was almost always squirty. Squirty poops stopped within one week of quitting aspartame and haven't returned in nearly 3 years of aspartame-free living.
